Juntos’s Cool Cats Summer Camp was a tremendous success. The 25 campers, selected by REDES enjoyed themselves thoroughly and learned so much. Integrated into these five days were issues and activities concerning the environment, endangered animals, cat and dog behavior, pet over population, animal cruelty prevention, pet care and even healthy eating habits!
Adora Negron did a fabulous job of coordinating and running the camp along with her staff of volunteers.
To quote Adora regarding the campers : “I have no doubt that what they learned will be applied in their lives and that they will continue to promote compassion and empathy towards all living beings.”
